Title: Last bets for Higgs and Supersymmetry before the LHC starts

Abstract: One of the primary objectives of the LHC is to discover the Higgs boson. In
the first part of the talk, I will review the latest indications about its
possible mass and discuss the implications this could have for the fate of
the Standard Model. Another objective of the LHC is to search for
supersymmetry, and in the second part of the talk I will present the results
of a likelihood analysis of supersymmetric model parameters, incorporating
the available information from accelerator data and cosmology.
