| Title: | Bosonization and other exact dualities in 2+1 dimensions |

| Abstract: | Recent years have seen many new results concerning non-supersymmetric dualities in 2+1 dimensions. In this talk I will show how such dualities can be approached from a Hamiltonian lattice perspective, where explicit mappings of operator algebras at the UV level can be used to prove dualities between gapped/topological phases in the infrared. One particular result will be a realization of a pure lattice gauge theory that has the same properties as a U(1) Chern-Simons theory at level one on all closed manifolds. Time permitting, I will also discuss conjectured lattice realizations of more general Chern-Simons terms. |
