Abstract: Recent cosmological observations suggest that the correct nature of the late-time cosmological model significantly deviates from the ΛCDM model. With this motivation, we use information encoded in gravitational wave (GW) signals originating from sources at cosmological distances to draw cosmological inferences. Specificaly we show that while propagating, the memory present in the GW signal gets enhanced due to cosmic expansion, accumulating an integrated effect of the background. Utilising this novel phenomenon, refered as Integrated-cosmological-memory(ICM), we perform a Bayesian inference after simulating a set of compact binary coalescence signals in universes described by different cosmological models and injecting them into future GW networks to constrain cosmological model parameters. We claim that this method will be a reliable cosmological probe that can serve as an alternative to bright siren probes.
