Title: How Large is a Neutron Star?
Date (JST): Mon, Feb 24, 2014, 15:45 - 16:45
Place: Seminar Room A

Abstract: This talk will be about recent developments concerning neutron star radius measurements from quiescent low-mass X-ray binaries and from photoshperic radius expansion bursts. Some of these measurements are controversial. The talk will also examine recent nuclear physics experiments that bear directly on the neutron star radius question. An interesting concordance may be developing.
