Title: Dissipative dynamics of cosmic inflation and some basic problems
Date (JST): Wed, Sep 24, 2014, 13:30 - 14:30
Place: Seminar Room A
Abstract: The inflationary dynamics is the most important stage in the early Universe. We examine the basic problems of the inflationary dynamics emphasizing the non-equilibrium dissipative physics by proposing simple models. The basic problems we consider will be a) the origin and the fate of the classical scalar field from quantum field theory, b) fine-tuning of the vacuum energy, c) origin of the classical statistical fluctuations, and so on. We emphasize that these problems are deeply related with the basic physics in the laboratory experiments as well as dark matter and dark energy problems.
