| Abstract: | KiDS is the Kilo-Degree Survey, an on-going multi-colour weak lensing and tomography survey being carried out with the VLT Survey Telescope on Paranal. The talk will describe the survey, the status, some of the techniques developed for the weak lensing analysis, as well as present some preliminary results based on the first 150 square degrees of data. |
