Title: Unitarization of gravity scattering amplitude
Date (JST): Tue, Sep 29, 2015, 13:15 - 14:45
Place: Seminar Room A
Abstract: Graviton scattering amplitudes are highly constrained. As an example, three-point massless scattering involving at least two gravitons allow for only three distinct interactions. Assuming that the UV degrees of freedom appears when gravity is weekly coupled, we will demonstrate that tree-level unitarity coupled with the limited choice of three-point massless interactions, forces us to have an infinite tower of massive particles.
