Title: The Assembly of Today’s Most Massive Galaxies Over the Last 12.8 Gyr
Date (JST): Wed, Dec 07, 2016, 13:30 - 14:30
Place: Seminar Room A
Abstract: I will present recent results on the assembly of today’s most massive galaxies over the last 12.8 billion years of cosmic history (i.e., since z~7), highlighting the most controversial aspects. I will conclude by introducing KIFF and HFF-DeepSpace, two programs over the Hubble Frontier Fields which will enable full exploitation of this unique dataset.
