Abstract: We will see how simple geometric methods can be applied to understand many non-perturbative aspects of supersymmetric physics in five dimensions. These applications include:
1. Classification of 5d superconformal field theories
2. 5d and 6d UV completions of 5d gauge theories
3. Dualities between 5d gauge theories
4. T-dualities between 6d little string theories
5. Duality between M-theory and F-theory compactified on Calabi-Yau threefolds.
