Abstract: The Bethe ansatz equations are known to describe the spectrum of the quantum integrable models based on quantum groups. I will talk about two geometric settings in which such equations naturally emerge. The first instance is the study of quantum equivariant K-theory of the Nakajima varieties based on quasimaps, where these equations serve as the relations in the quantum K-theory ring. The other one is the study of q-difference version of certain connections (q-opers with regular singularities) on the projective line. I will explain the relation between these two cases in the context of what is known as the quantum q-Langlands correspondence.
