| Title: | Revisiting the paradigm of Galactic Cosmic Rays |

| Abstract: | The recent discoveries of cosmic-ray studies including the anomalously high fluxes of antiprotons and positrons and detection of multi-TeV gamma-rays from several galactic source populations indicate to the need of revision of the current paradigm of galactic cosmic rays. I will suggest modifications of a few principal aspects of the standard model to address the difficulties imposed by the cosmic-ray and gamma-ray data. In particular, special attention I will pay to the origin of PeVatrons - the extreme particle accelerators providing the fluxes of cosmic rays up to and beyond the knee at 10^15 eV. |
