We briefly review, in the context of charged spin 3/2 particles, a general argument outlining the presence of an intrinsic unitarization scale for interacting high-spin massive particles. We also present a recently discovered non-minimal action for charged spin 3/2 particles, which propagates causally physical degrees only --in constant external electromagnetic backgrounds. This action thus solves the long-standing puzzle due to the famous Velo-Zwanziger acausality problem. |
