Abstract: |
Turbulence remains one of the most profound unsolved problems in physics, where complex, emergent structures arise from simple underlying rules. Characterized by a vast number of strongly coupled degrees of freedom and extreme non-equilibrium behavior, it defies a complete theoretical understanding. In this talk, we define the core challenges of turbulence and explore three promising approaches to its resolution: quantum field theory, holographic duality via black hole dynamics, and modern deep learning techniques. |
