Abstract:
In algebraic geometry in positive characteristic, 1-foliations and their quotients play an important role. The singularities of 1-foliations and those of their quotients are closely related. For example, Posva showed that a 1-foliation on a regular surface is lc if and only if its quotient is F-regular. On the other hand, there are some 1-foliations whose quotients have klt singularities that are not F-regular. In this talk, I will introduce adjoint foliated structures to characterize such 1-foliations. Then, I will show that a 1-foliation on a normal variety is (p-1)/p-lc (resp. (p-1)/p-klt) if and only if its quotient is lc (resp. klt). As an application, I will explain the classification of klt quotients by 1-foliations on regular surfaces.
