| Title: | GeV ALP interactions with hadrons |

| Abstract: |
In this seminar I will review some recent developments regarding the phenomenology of Axion-Like particles (ALPs) with masses of order GeV. This mass range is very exciting due to the impact of the flavour structure of the ALP couplings, and to the experimental opportunities in observing long-lived particles in colliders. However, this range also presents theoretical challenges related to hadronic interactions. I will start by discussing the role of interactions with the lightest octet of baryons. Then I will present the library ALP-aca, a new toolbox for the ALP phenomenology. Finally, by using ALP-aca, I will explore the conditions needed to find an ALP solution to the excess observed by Belle II in the B -> K nu nu decay. |
