Abstract: Supersymmetric models with spontaneously broken approximate R-symmetry predict a light pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson, the R-axion. The properties of the R-axion are interrelated to the structures of the supersymmetry breaking and mediation mechanisms. Thus, the R-axion can be a powerful probe of those structures of the physics beyond the supersymmetric standard model. In this talk, I discuss the possibilities of the R-axion detection at the LHC experiments.
