Abstract: Fiber Multi Object Spectrograph "FMOS" was developed as a common-use instrument on Subaru Telescope through the collaboration of several institutions in Japan, UK, and Australia, and it has been open to general observers since May 2010. I, having been a part of the development team since the early stage and involved with the commissioning and stabilization at Subaru, will give an overview of the instrument with highlighting some details of the subsystems and example data. I will also briefly mention on-going & future survey programs by FMOS, and future fiber-fed instruments proposed for Subaru such as SuMIRe/PFS for different capabilities.
