Title: 2HDM_MFV Facing Recent LHCb Data
Date (JST): Wed, Jun 27, 2012, 13:30 - 14:30
Place: Seminar Room A
Abstract: The CKM picture of the standard model (SM) has remarkably succeeded to explain almost all flavor and CP violating phenomena. However, a closer look at the data might indicate some tensions between flavor observables, such as epsK, sin(2 beta) and Br(B-> tau nu), and they might be solved by some new physics (NP) effects. On the other hand, the recent very improved data from the LHCb experiment severely constrain the NP contributions to the b-s transition. In this talk, I summarize the current status of the above-mentioned tensions in the CKM fitting, and show its possible explanation in the two-Higgs doublet model with Minimal Flavor Violation (2HDM_MFV) in consideration of the recent LHCb data.
