Title: Gravitational lensing and dark matter and dark energy
Abstract: Gravitational lensing caused by cosmic hierarchical
structures provide a unique
method to directly map the dark matter distribution in the universe.
In my talk I will describe
how the gravitational lensing methods can be used to explore the
nature of dark matter and the
nature of dark energy. I will emphasize the strengths of Subaru
telescope for the precise
measurement of the lensing observables thanks to the excellent image
quality and widest Field-of-View
compared to other telescopes.
