| Abstract: | I will give a short introduction to localization of gauge theories in four dimensions, and work out in detail the partition function of N=1 Super-Yang-Mills and SQCD on simple elliptic fibrations. This function has the interpretation of an index which counts BPS states, which I will also review. |
