| Abstract: | After a brief reminder of the U(1) and strong-CP problems in QCD I will show how, using an effective Lagrangian approach, one can determine the regions in parameter space where CP is spontaneously (un)broken at \theta=\pi. These results may have implications on the shape of the axion potential at temperatures close to the deconfining transition |
