Abstract: The complex projective superspace CP(N-1|N) provides one of the simplest example of a Calabi-Yau geometry with a single Kaehler parameter. It serves as a target space for a family of novel conformal 2D sigma models that cannot be solved by the traditional algebraic methods of conformal field theory.
In my talk I explain some of the new umerical and analytical technology that goes into solving superspace sigma models and I will point out some links with recent advances in the context of AdS compactifications.
