Abstract: Abstract for the mini-review:

I present the basic ideas of the new methods developed for calculating multi-leg one loop amplitudes. I also present a summary of recent results obtained on next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the production process p+p -->W/Z+3jets, t+tbar+b+bar, t+tbar+2jets.

Abstract for the seminar:

I present an overview of the main concepts of the generalized unitarity cut method for calculating on loop multi-parton amplitudes. OPP reduction, unitarity cut method in D-dimension for the rational terms, factorization and color decomposition will be discussed by using simple examples. Recent developments in calculating finite subtracted real radiation cross sections will be briefly described.
