Abstract: One of the fascinating predictions of the inflation theory is B mode polarization in cosmic microwave background coming from the gravitational waves during inflation. The "Lite (light) satellite for the studies of B-mode polarization and Inflation from cosmic background Radiation Detection (LiteBIRD)" is designed to detect tensor mode polarization at the level of 10^{-8} Kelvin and measure the tensor/scalar ratio of 10^{-3}. The recent advances in the bolometer-type detector have made it possible. In this seminar, the LiteBIRD project will be described and on-going simulation study for measuring r in galactic foregrounds will be discussed.
